What a Gem Cammie Henry is to have in our town. Mary Linn and Shelia are always more than a pleasure to work with. They will give it their all to help you locate things you are looking for and 95% of the time also drag out others relivant to your search. I am sure others here have had like experiences and from all thanks.

Jeff,
Yes, we do manage to stay pretty busy around there! When i started this job, it seemed to be either feast or famine.......i.e, either there was a lot to do or nothing.....but, I have been busy with a lot of "projects" (as we like to call them) such as putting security tape in ALL the books, have supervised the students in their effort to re-box a lot of microfilm into archival boxes, finished processing the Fortson collection, assisted with the preliminary processing/inventory of the Patty Lemee-Smith collection, processed the KA collection and several other things in addition to assisting patrons by pulling material, making copies........and in addition to that, reshelving material and books.......
But, I truly love my job! And how many people can say that and mean it?

Wow, y'all are really busy! I thought you were just using that as an excuse to keep from posting content to the site. ;-)

Looking forward to that Cohen exhibit this fall!

The paper will also be submitted to the Society of Southwest Archivists quarterly publication.
Wernet also participated in a Society of Southwest Archivists sponsored half-day, hands-on workshop on Creating and Managing Online Exhibits and attended several sessions including: Archiving Born-Digital Records and Manuscripts in University Settings, Ownership of Digital Materials in Personal Paper Collections and the Archivists Toolkit.
