Can someone tell me who to contact about trimming trees and bushes in the cemetery? The grave of William Houston Jack is an obelisk near the grave of Pierre Prudhomme and Claude Metoyer. Jack was the first president of the Louisiana Society, Sons of the American Revolution and I am certain that when we mark the Prudhomme grave in May we will want to mark the Jack grave as well. As it stands, the bushes and shrubs have grown all around the base of the grave, making it unreadable and inaccessible."

So far as I can determine, William H. Jack is interred at the Texas State Cemetery, which is also on the National Register of Historical Places. You did not indicate the name of the cemetery or its location. I cannot determine exact information without cemetery name or location. The photograph on the Texas State Cemetery website does not depict overgrowth of this headstone. It may be an older photo. I would contact them directly with your concerns, if this is the final resting place of William H. Jack.
